British rider to miss home race after collarbone injury in Malaysia

Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team rider Alex Lowes will unfortunately be forced to miss his home Round at Donington Park after the Brit was declared unfit to race. Originally given permission to ride on Friday after a review after FP1, the affects from the injury to his collarbone, sustained on track in Race 2 in Sepang, sadly proved too much for Lowes and he will not be able to take part in further track action at Donington.

Pata Yamaha will be hoping that both Lowes and his teammate Sylvain Guintoli, who suffered a highside crash in Imola and is also sidelined, will be back on track for Round 8 at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli from 17th-19th June.
